OomPaul.com is...

...a multi-national conglomerate with over $60 billion (US) in assets. OomPaul.com's Board of Directors is comprised of six unnamed NATO appointed directors, two dairy magnates, and the one remaining Knight Templar. They work diligently to secure the love of the pipe for all humankind, for all generations to come, by pulling strings in governments worldwide. But more importantly, they control the vast underground network of nearly omnipotent Pipe Club Secret Societies. My wife and I (pictured below) are merely puppets.

Me, Olie Sylvester, smoking one of my favorites—an Ardor Chubby Billiard. I am a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, and have been smoking a pipe since about 1999, although my fascination with pipes started when I was a kid. I started collecting pipes when I was about 12. I have only 1 pipe left from that early collection. I started collecting again after moving to the Atlanta area after college (around 1999.) I decided to start this podcast to build an audio library of interviews with people in the pipe world (and to have a great excuse to spend money on pipes and meet some really great folks). I hope that you enjoy the site and podcast.

Venessa, my wife of 12 years, is my helpmate and supporter in all things pipe, and mother to my two sons who are the appointed heirs to my vast pipe empire. She is the technical mastermind behind OomPaul.com and on top of that, designed the beautiful logo. (She also wrote this paragraph.) See more of her work here or email Venessa if you would like to discuss an art commission.
