Flora Cambriana 2 ($300) (10)
A hand made aqua ebonite plant pod-like stem gives way to a long black delrin tenon that has a strangely cottony texture. This tenon runs through an antique spool with green felt bottom that serves as the art's main vertical line as well as it's sitting mechanism. Just beyond the top of the spool blossoms the pipe bowl itself, undulating in form and color with a stark sprig of faux foliage jutting from it's body.
A rough hewn wooden box with fitted red crushed velvet interior and rusted closures are home to FC2. -

Each has a real dinosaur tooth protruding out from it. -
First Zombie (SOLD) (4)
The Zombie series takes pipes that were forgotten or destined for demise and breathes life back into them by adding on new parts in a Frankenstinian fashion. Here is the first Zombie, an antique clay bowl dug up in St. Augustine FL which dates from the late 1800s matched with a hand made briar stem. -
Cobb Puck 0/0 (SOLD) (1)
Here's a cob that didn't make it into the Cobb Unculus series over at PipesandCigars.com (check those out too!) This one (Cobb Puck) was a real terror and born out of problems to cause more problems, hence the name. It's numbered 0/0 because I didn't feel quite right bringing such a hellion into this realm. In numbering it in such a way, I can tell myself, it doesn't really exist. And that comforts me. For only the brave, comes with it's own zippered, scorched and tattered pipe satchel. -
Red Liver Root (ADOPTED) (10)
Gnarled and scarred magenta briar bowl with all natural untouched plateau top, Red Liver Root is not for the faint at heart. The shank is a section of red liver root harvested from lower Cimmeria, land of Conan. Either that or the shank is made of mystery wood from a cork screw I won in a raffle a decade ago. A delrin tenon extends the entire length and ends in a ebonite stem.

Geist Haus (SOLD OUT) (11)
Imagine this, partially made pipes sitting in an old workshop in Germany for 50+ years. Quietly, time goes by. The world changes, the pipes wait. What will become of them? Finally, someone uncovers them and I acquire them for a Monstrosity series, Geist Haus (Ghost House.) White and black, numbered 1 through 5. 3 of them are already on their way to PipesandCigars.com. Let me know if you'd like to see images of the other 2. Goodness only knows how old this wood is.
